6-DAY THAILAND CLASSIC TOUR
A six day tour that brings you closer to everything you associate with
Thailand: the temples, palaces, monuments, rive life, Thai Food,
handicrafts, hill tribes and elephants. Sit back and enjoy as we take you
north of Bangkok to central and northern Thailand. We go to Ayutthaya,
Lampang, Lopburi, Phayao, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai
by road and river way. Handicraft making, cultural shows, Thai food, boat
rides over the Mekong etc. will be seen and engaged in at many of these
destinations. A real get of no-frills trip is a must for any visitor who
wants to know Thailand in its spirit, culture and beauty.

Day 1:
Bangkok - Ayuthaya - Phitsanuloke |

Depart from various hotels in Bangkok to Bang-Pa-In,
visit the former Summer Palace of the Rama Kings,
then continue to Ayuthaya, the ancient capital of
Siam, to visit the ruins, 3 temples (Wat Yai
Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat, Wat Phanang Choeng).
Continue to Lopburi.
Lunch
en route at a local
restaurant. Visit to Prang Sam Yod and Phra Kan
Shrine and then proceed to Phitsanuloke.
Dinner
and overnight at hotel |

Day 2:
Phitsanuloke - Sukhothai - Lampang |
|
Breakfast
at the hotel. Check out of the hotel. Visit the
ancient city of Sukhothai, the museum and Sri
Satchanalai. Lunch
en route at a local restaurant. On the way stop at a
local village. Continue to Lampang.

and overnight at hotel. |

Day 3:
Lampang - Chiang Mai |
|
Breakfast
at the Lodge. Check out of the hotel. Visit Wat
Phathat Lampang Luang and continue to visit Wat
Haripoonchai in Lampoon.
Lunch
en route at a local
restaurant. After lunch continue to visit handicraft
village at Bo Sang and San Kamphaeng, which is the
center of cotton industries, traditional local
products, antiques from Burma and hill tribe
handicrafts, hand-woven silk and cotton and wood
carving. Dinner

Day 4:
Chiang Mai |
|
Breakfast
at the hotel. Visit the one of most revered temples
in Chiangmai: Wat Doi Suthep, located high in the
mountains, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of
the whole Chiangmai area. Return to lunch
at the hotel. The afternoon is at leisure. In the
evening enjoy a Northern Thai Kantoke
dinner
with various shows and performances of hill tribes.

Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai |

Breakfast
at the hotel. Check out
of the hotel. Visit an elephant training camp to see
a demonstration of elephant at work (elephant ride
is optional and not included in this program).
Lunch
at a local restaurant.
Take an exciting long tail boat trip from Pha Tai to
Chang Rai, along the way, visit the various hill
tribe villages.

Day 6:
Chiang Rai - Bangkok |
|
Breakfast
at hotel. Check out of the hotel. Visit the local
hill tribe village and continue to a small trading
town of Mae Sai. Proceed to visit the “Golden
Triangle”, the area where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar
meet.
Lunch
at Imperial Golden Triangle Resort. Visit the
historical city of Chang Saen then transfer to
Chiangrai airport.
